FRG CO Leader

So I ran into out FRG leader the other day at the PX (which is random 'cause we NEVER go to the PX), so we run into her and she says that they leave in a few months and that they are going to have a FRG meeting so they can elect a new president. She asks if I would want to have the pleasure of being it, I promptly said "thanks but NO thanks". You have to understand I don't mind being in charge of things but I have no clue about FRG's this is my first one. So we have a meeting and at this meeting I get to know some of the wives and talk at the meeting how at the next meeting we need to fill all of these different positions. I told Karl that I need to make sure I am at that meeting so I don't get elected for anything. So they schedule the meeting and sure enough I can't be there! Great I am going to be president, I just no it. So I text Karl while he is in the meeting and tell him that just make sure I am not president or Secretary, I don't mind being Treasurer or a key caller, just not President. Sure enough I get a text 10 mins later asking if i would mind being co leader with another women in the unit. Of course i said if no one else will do it, then fine I'll do it. 5 mins later i get a text saying Chief says thanks. I was like WHAT, you mean absolutely no one else would do it. So now i have no idea what I am doing and I have to meet with the old leaders and sign everything over to me and the other girl. AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I am so clueless! My first act as FRG leader is to declare a state of emergency!

NEW BLOG

OK so everyone keeps telling me i need a blog... so here we go I did it, I've got one.

A little about us:

Karl is a Marine at heart gone Army soldier. He is a Bandsmen in the Army trying to go to the Physicians Assistant program next year. It is an Officer position and is 2 intense years of schooling. He basically be a doctor but without the residency and they can't do quite everything. Karl enjoys just about any and every sport they show on espn or any of the other 50 sports channels he watches. He enjoys playing all the sports as well, he plays Basketball almost everyday, softball with his unit (they need some help), and Golf any chance he can get.

Amanda is a stay at home mom/ child care giver. Currently she is watching a 21/2 yr old little girl named Ellie, and a little 4 month old boy named Jason. She will also have a newborn starting in August, a little boy. She is excited to start and will enjoy doing crafts and field trips to the zoo or aqaurium. She enjoys reading a good book, playing with our son, and taking pictures. She is an amature photographer and will photograph just about anything especially our son. We have photo albums gallore.

Landon just turned 1 April 5, it is hard to believe he is all ready 1, they grow so fast. He is a busy little boy, he enjoys getting into everything, going to the park, and testing his independence or should i say boundaries. He loves music of any kind and loves to dance. His favorite show is The Backyardigans, and also enjoys the Veggie Tales. For the most part He won't sit still long enough to watch anything, he just likes the music. He is now 26 lbs, and 30" tall, that puts him in the 75th percentile, he's a big boy. And oh his blue eyes will pierce right to your heart. For the most part he is a good kid, and is right on track with his learning skills. He can say mama, daddy, whats that, more, nighnight, baba, and will babble on for days believing he is carrying on a full conversation with you. He also knows some signs like, juice, milk, more, hungry, sleepy, and we are trying to teach him poopoo, but he tends to do it after he has all ready gone.

A little about the family. We met at Western Carolina University, didn't talk for a whole semester, Amanda tackled Karl, Karl proposed 9 months later, 3 months later we were married in Bakersville NC, on November 26, 2005 and got pregnant with Landon on July 17, 2006, He was born April 5, 2007 and we were living in Asheville NC. We are currently living in Pearl City HI and LOVING it. Amanda loves being so close to the beach. Karl enjoys the great golfing weather and Landon well he loves being outside and love swimming. We are quite content where we are.

I think that is enough for now, you now know our life story!!!
OH YEAH I ALMOST FORGOT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!!! We bleed orange and blue, we are both die hard FLORIDA GATORS fans!!! and the gator chomp is one of the first things we taught Landon.
